(1) Interested candidates are invited to apply for the following five posts under Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) funded project titled "Improving TB diagnosis at Designated Microscopic centers by introduction of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and optimum utilization of rapid molecular diagnostics and its cost effectiveness" for project sites Delhi and Odisha’ on contract basis

Nature of Duties 1. To conduct assessments of microscopy centers and supporting National TB Elimination program (NTEP) to improve quality systems at DMCs and rapid molecular testing for TB by smear microscopy, CBNAAT and TrueNat
2. Development of training content
3. Capacity building and trainings of NTEP staff
4. Supportive Supervision / Mentoring visits for handholding and re-assessments for QMS
5. Coordination of project activities at Delhi and Odisha sites
Duration of contract One year (renewable based on performance and availability of funds)
Salary Rs 48,000+ Rs 6,300 (30% HRA); Total Rs. 54,300 per month

Place of posting and salary The project personnel will be posted at Project sites in New Delhi (DMC Kingsway Camp and DMC RK Mission) and Odisha (DMC DTC Cuttack, DMC KIMS Bhubaneswar)
1.New Delhi (2); Rs 35,000 + Rs.8,400 (24% HRA); Total Rs 43,400/- per month (for each post)
2. Cuttack (1); Rs. 35,000 + Rs 5,600 (16% HRA); Total Rs. 40,600/- per month
3. Bhubaneshwar (1); Rs. 35,000/- + Rs 5,600/- (16% HRA); Total Rs. 40,600/- per month

Essential qualification Masters in Life Sciences with NET Qualification and two years research experience or Post Graduate degree (Masters) in Professional Course with two years research experience
Desirable qualification Prior work experience with National TB Elimination Program (NTEP) would be preferred

Duration of contract One year (renewable based on performance and availability of funds)

Terms and Conditions:
1. This engagement is purely contractual and co-terminable with the project
2. Age relaxation will be given to the eligible candidate as per ICMR guideline
3. Leaves and Holidays will be as per ICMR guidelines
